Brand Voice & Community Strategist

We’re on the lookout for a Brand Voice & Community Strategist who lives and breathes social, memes, and internet culture—and knows how to turn that into brand love, loyalty, and laughs in the DMs.
What you’ll do:
- Own our community strategy—dreaming up and executing ideas that make people feel seen, heard, and part of the family.
- Lead the charge on our brand voice, with a special focus on social. You know how to make a caption scroll-stopping, a post worth saving, and a message feel like a moment.
- Write platform-native copy that builds community—from TikToks and Threads to subject lines and surprise-and-delight DMs.
- Partner across teams to make sure our tone of voice shows up consistently everywhere—from ecommerce to B2B decks, and everything in between.
- Keep your finger on the pulse of what’s trending (and what’s tired). You’re not just following the algorithm—you’re reading its mind.
- Help define what “good” looks like in copy and community performance. You’re just as comfy in a spreadsheet as you are in a comment thread.
- Take the lead on emerging platforms like Threads, Substack, Discord, and our Instagram broadcast channel.
- Develop compelling narratives for new product launches, tailored for internal distribution and alignment.
Who you are:
- A community and social expert with 5–7+ years experience in copywriting or social at a brand or agency.
- A sharp, social-first writer with a portfolio that proves your range, wit, and clarity.
- A natural entertainer—you make people laugh, click, and comment.
- A true community builder. You know the difference between talking at people and talking with them.
- A storyteller who can zoom out to the big idea and zoom in on the perfect line.
- Fluent in internet culture, fandoms, and subcultures—and you know how to show up authentically in each.
- A team player who loves to collaborate across creative, brand, and product.
