What you’ll be doing:
As Junior Buyer (50%) and Product Developer (50%), you play a key role in the end-to-end process of bringing seasonal collections to life -from early product development through to final delivery, ensuring the products meet quality, cost and timeline targets.
You are responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating prices, and securing accurate, on-time deliveries. Simultaneously, you oversee the development of new products, ensuring they align with brand standards, meet compliance requirements, and are produced with the most suitable partners. By maintaining accurate data, driving innovation, and supporting sustainability efforts, this role contributes directly to the brand’s continued growth and product excellence.
Junior Buyer key responsibilities:
• Place and follow up on orders to ensure delivery accuracy, cashflow- and cost optimization throughout the season, verifying all connected data.
• Conduct price negotiations aligned with set margin targets and price development goals.
• Prepare, follow up and manage photo and salesman samples to support seasonal launches.
• Support seasonal capacity planning and article-based forecasting
• Handle supplier invoices, manage claims and coordinate with the internal Finance team on invoice related issues.
• Create buying-related reports for sustainability reporting, audits or internal analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of master data from the purchasing team for product related projects.
Product Developer key responsibilities:
• Responsible for the the execution of new collections from sketch to approved sample, adhering to established routines.
• Collaborate on new product line developments, including evaluating initial pricing for new styles and materials.
• Ensure products, labels, artworks, and components meet business standards, timelines, and are sourced from the most appropriate suppliers.
• Maintain accurate specifications and sample comments for efficient handover to suppliers and production team.
• Manage internal/external product testing and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Introduce innovative ideas, including exploring new materials and qualities.
• Manage article administration in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), ensuring master data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Participate in supplier performance evaluations, providing insights on sample precision, quality, service level, and collaboration opportunities.
• Ensure that all product development milestones and deadlines are met according to plan.

- Keep track of, and follow up on, costs and KPIs related to your suppliers
- Participate in the implementation of cross functional initiatives

You know how to handle different types of people and feel comfortable working with different stakeholders and partners. Finally, you are great at problem solving and taking decisions in a fast paced environment
Specific experience and knowledge for this role:
- Academic degree from textile and/ or business education
- Minimum of 4 years' professional experience in similar roles
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Proficient in working in ERP and PLM systems (preferably Business Central and Delogue)
- Fluent in English
This is a full-time, one-year contract position to cover a maternity leave, and we are looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible.
