Operations Manager - North America

We're currently looking for an Operations Manager to oversee various aspects of our operations in North America, from high to low. You will mainly be focusing on managing outbound operations, ensuring adherence to vendor guidelines, resolving customer claims and implementing new customers. You will also drive logistics projects and other operational improvement projects to optimize product delivery to our consumers across various markets.
In this role, collaboration is key, as you'll be working closely with the sales team in NYC, the global Logistics team in Stockholm, and our US warehouse and US clients.
We are a global company with 150 colorful and creative people from all over the world (25+ nationalities, and counting!). You will be part of our small but mighty NA team of 6 Happy Sockers, based at our New York office.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Understand and enforce vendor guidelines across accounts for warehouse and EDI execution
- Ensure customer agreement specifications are met during order fulfillment, adhering to warehouse SLA’s
- Maintain awareness of bulk and sales orders, communicating support needs to the sales team
- Coordinate daily with US Wholesale and US Retail/E-commerce teams to manage priorities
- Facilitate communication with the warehouse for order allocations and special instructions
- Resolve customer claims and chargebacks, collecting necessary proof
- Initiate, drive and implement operational improvement projects
- Effectively utilize ERP system to manage and streamline operational processes
- Manage invoicing for EDI, local freight, and outbound warehouse costs, utilizing agreement knowledge for accurate pricing
- Supervise warehouse supplies and inventory levels, ensuring materials are ordered and stock accuracy is maintained in collaboration with the Global Logistics team and warehouse providers, including consignment locations
Requirements & Skills
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Previous experience from working with 3PLs providers as well as handling customer orders and shipments (including working with vendor guidelines for major US department stores)
- Previous experience from working in an ERP-system and B2B platforms (preferably Business Central & NuOrder!)
- Experience from working with EDI providers and customer integrations (experience from SPS would be big plus)
- Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables & vlookup are your go to formulas!)

Pay
The base salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skills and scope required, and unique relevant experience and job-related skills. The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $115,000
