We are looking for a part-time Finance Assistant (50%) to join our accounting team at our HQ in Stockholm. If you are currently studying Business Administration or Economics (for example at Stockholm University) or have completed a higher vocational degree (YH) and are looking to get relevant finance experience alongside your studies, this is an excellent opportunity!
As our Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in keeping our daily financial operations running smoothly. You’ll get to be part of a fun, ambitious Finance Department where no two days look exactly the same.
Your flexible 50% schedule can ideally be spread across half-days by agreement, giving you a lot of freedom to plan your work alongside your studies. We practice a hybrid model: we want you to work about half your time at our colorful HQ, and the remainder can be done remotely.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Your focus will primarily be on Accounts Payables, bank reconciliations, and general finance administration:
Finance Inbox & Mail Master: Take ownership of monitoring and managing our shared finance inbox, as well as handling physical mail and finance-related documents.
Accounts Payables & Rillion: Handle arrival registrations in our invoice management system (Rillion), oversee general supplier ledger administration, and act as a point of contact for vendor inquiries.
Payments & Banking: Prepare weekly payment proposals, register and execute payments in the bank, and match outgoing payments against invoices.
Reconciliations & Accounting: Perform regular bank reconciliations, continuous account reconciliations, and assist with general day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
Team Support: Assist the wider finance function with ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.
Experience & Skills
Educational Background: Upper secondary degree in economics/business, a vocational degree (YH-utbildning till ekonomiassistent), or currently studying Business Administration/Economics.
Attention to Detail: Finance is all about exact numbers! You are structured, organized, and pride yourself on high accuracy.
Tech & System Savvy: Solid user skills in standard accounting software (experience with Rillion or ERP systems like Business Central is a plus) and good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
Languages: Good knowledge of Swedish (both written and spoken) is required, along with fluency in English to fit into our global culture.
The "Can-Do" Spirit: You are a positive team player with a solution-oriented mindset who loves it when things happen fast and always delivers on what you promise.
