We are now looking for an analytical, structured and happy Sales Planner to cover a parental leave in our Wholesale team. It’s a temporary position from March - November 2021, but depending on your performance and overall business needs, there is a possibility of the role becoming permanent after the initial contract period. 

As our Sales Planner, you will support our colleagues and customers in Swedish Wholesale, Private Label and Travel Retail. You will work closely with our Country Manager in Sweden, Global Travel Retail Manager and CCO to support them with your expertise and guidance, and make sure they have all the tools they need to succeed. We are 180 colorful characters at Happy Socks from over 25 different countries and you'll work at our quirky HQ in Stockholm

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the requests from the Wholesale team towards other departments like Supply, Marketing and Finance 
  • Analyse forecasts and financial reports 
  • Be responsible for demand planning and order processing - securing that orders are packed and shipped according to contract instructions in co-operation with the Logistics team
  • Develop and maintain sales offers, inventory reports and sales analysis
  • Update and maintain master data and sales assortment
  • Develop and coordinate Shop in Shops, Pop-Up projects and SMU’s and coordinate trade shows
  • Support and coordinate CTA (Call To Action) installations and activities for the top accounts in Sweden
  • Make sure all requests and events are in line with the Happy Socks brand guidelines

 Requirements & Skills

  • Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
  • Great knowledge in Excel - able to draw conclusions and suggest actions based on your data analysis 
  • 3+ years experience from a similar position, or a sales position
  • Higher education in relevant field is a plus
  • Knowledge/experience in the fashion industry is a plus 
  • Experience of Navision and Qlik Sense is a plus

You enjoy maximising sales and you know how to do it by effective sales analysis, where you identify problems and come with solutions. You are a social person who enjoys working cross-functional and getting to know different parts of the organisation. You manage your work in a structured way and have a “get it done” attitude where you have no problem rolling up your sleeves when needed. 

Most importantly, you have the personality to fit a somewhat crazy, fun work environment where we believe in color and playfulness, a place where you can expect the unexpected and you are a source a creative weirdness.
