Wholesale Customer Service Coordinator - NYC

Happy Socks North America is seeking a Wholesale Customer Experience Coordinator to be an integral member of the operations team and is responsible for supporting the sales team, retail partners and end-consumer by providing the highest level of service that will contribute to the overall growth of Happy Socks business.  This role requires someone who can communicate effectively on the phone and via e-mail, be proactive and detail-oriented, problem solve, has a can-do attitude, as well as be willing to learn and grow within the company.  The position is based out of our headquarters in SoHo, New York City and reports to the Operations Manager.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Manages orders from entry to shipping ensuring orders are fulfilled and shipped on time
  • Responsible for updating and revising orders in a timely manner
  • Analyzes and resolves customer concerns based on department policies and procedures
  • Reviews open order reports on a daily basis to ensure a seamless shipping process while identifying any issues with orders that will jeopardize achievement of monthly budget targets
  • Partners with the finance department to assist in resolving any non-shippable orders due to credit holds
  • Ability to quickly learn ERP system to generate reports and pull data that is critical in supporting sales and processing customer requests
  • Enhances the department and organization by working with cross-functional departments by exploring opportunities to add value to business processes and contribute ideas that are innovative
  •  Professional and efficient communication with sales and accounts as well as cross-functional departments
  • Establishes, builds and maintains professional relationships and demeanor at all times with internal and external business partners
  • Assist Sales team with trade shows and peak season, including manually entering customer orders and bulks
  •  Ad hoc projects and duties assigned
  • Maintain current product assortment line sheets in B2B Platform
  • Send out email blasts of new product launches
  • Manage all customer order inquires and complaints

Requirements & Skills: 

  • A minimum of 2 years in a wholesale Customer-service related role
  • Data entry work experience 
  • Proficient experience/skills in ERP systems, EDI process and B2B platforms
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and ability to multitask
  • Customer service mindset
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Experience with NuOrder preferred, as well as with Navision, or similar business software system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excel proficient
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Spanish is a plus.
