The role

As Head of Agency, you’ll be responsible for leading our in-house agency in developing creative ideas into commercial concepts and actions for all marketing channels. The role requires strong people and project management skills, and good understanding of brand development and multi channel marketing concepts on a global level.

You’re an experienced people and project manager who has worked extensively in an agency environment with both external and internal clients, who loves rolling up your sleeves and digging into the details when needed. You have a great understanding of managing creative projects and creative development, and how to work successfully with budgets big and small to reach the project’s goals. Change is something you embrace, and are used to as this is a constant at our fast-growing company.

Areas of responsibility

  • Manage and constantly develop the in-house agency, making sure the team is accurately resourced to keep up with required service level to internal and external clients
  • Lead and manage creative productions, e.g. photo & video shoots, campaigns, web design projects, POS & display materials, company visuals, lookbooks etc
  • Manage the annual marketing production budget
  • Proactively develop the level of creative production at the company, both from creative development and asset performance perspective
  • Liaise with the other department heads to understand their needs in terms of content and assets as well as plan resourcing and workload for the Agency
  • Make sure external partners, such as production companies and photographers, receive accurate briefs and follow these projects from start to finish and stay on budget
  • Give feedback on creative output of third party agencies.

Required skills and knowledge

  • 5+ years of management experience at an advertising or production agency, or in a similar role in-house on the client side
  • Successful track record of managing creative projects in an agency environment
  • Experience of managing a team of minimum of 5 direct reports
  • Excellent at planning and implementing workflow processes and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • High degree of creative knowledge and recognition of brand values/aesthetic
  • Extensive knowledge of creative development from both print and digital, with good understanding of art direction, design, copy and asset production
  • Proactive and positive approach to problem solving
  • Self-motivated and energetic individual with a high level of initiative
  • Comfortable working at a fast pace with a “get it done” mindset
  • Previous experience working in fashion/retail eCommerce business or background is a plus
