eCommerce Operations Manager

We’re now looking for an eCommerce Operations Manager, to optimize our websites and operations, for our eCommerce team at our HQ in Stockholm. You’ll join a happy and extremely driven multicultural company of approx. 90 people from 20 countries.

As our eCommerce Operations Manager you’ll be responsible for maintaining excellence in key areas of Happy Socks’ websites and operations, such as payments, localization and delivery experience. Optimization and making sure we are compliant in all areas of our eCommerce, will be your primary focus. You’ll also manage projects concerning logistics (ensure we have the best way of delivering our products to the consumers in each market) and finance (payments, costs, administration). 

As you will be working with several stakeholders both internally and externally, we want you to be a proactive and persistent collaborator who make the right things happen in the right way. You will manage the Operations team, and report directly to our Head of eCommerce.

Main work tasks/areas

  • Maintain and optimize localizations from a customer, cost and administration perspective
  • Maintain and optimize payment methods from a customer, cost and administration perspective
  • Responsible for the production and maintenance of all payment related reporting, Payment Service Provider procurement, risk management, taxation and PCI certification
  • Define requirements for delivery methods and unboxing experience globally from a customer and cost perspective
  • Lead all eCommerce projects concerning payments, logistics and localization
  • Responsible for eCommerce compliance
  • Manage Happy Socks’ domain portfolio; adding new ones and maintaining existing
  • Lead the Operations team, ensuring goals are met and employees are motivated

Requirements

  • Fluent in English (any additional language a plus)
  • eCommerce experience
  • Experience working in various eCommerce (related) systems, preferably payment systems
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in working with agile methodologies
  • International mind-set
  • Proactive and persistent attitude
  • Excellent negotiation skills
