We are now looking for a business-driven Store Manager to our Flagship Store in Stockholm. Your main focus will be to manage the store as a profit-bearing unit, maintaining a credible brand and communicating our brand story. An important aspect of the position will also be to initiate and establish collaborations with the local corporate businesses, by being sales-driven and think outside the box. In other words, this is so much more than a "regular" store manager position! In addition to this you will make sure campaigns, guidelines, events, stock levels and store operations are executed according to plan. We have set strategies and frameworks for all Happy Socks stores globally.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Full responsibility for the store P and L, and for driving business to reach revenue and profitability targets
  • Responsibility for store budget and all costs related to the store
  • Develop store strategies to raise customer’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador and prospect potential clients via email or phone to seek networking opportunities, set up meetings and establish deals
  • Build relationships with current key customers  
  • Manage store staff, which includes all aspects such as recruiting, training, coaching and motivating etc.
  • Concept, plan and execute successful customer in-store events
  • Analyse and demonstrate key learnings and identify key areas of opportunity and growth
  • Regularly review and monitor all aspects of product storage and inventory levels

This is a Full-time position; you will work during weekdays + one full weekend + 1 Saturday per month (it may also include some work during holidays and evenings)
Store hours: weekdays 11:00 – 19.00, weekends 11.00 - 17.00

Experience & skills required:

  • 3+ years experience within retail
  • 1+ years in a Store Manager/leadership position
  • Experience working with partnerships and corporations 
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken 
  • Basic knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Visual Merchandising experience is a big big plus!

You have a great sense for details and are analytical and structured. Lastly, you share the cultural philosophy of Happy Socks!
