Happy Socks North America is seeking a talented Logistics Coordinator to join the Operations Team.  The position is based out of our headquarters in SoHo, New York City and reports to our Operations Manager.

As the communication hub between the 3PL warehouse and Happy Socks US team, the Logistic Coordinator must have excellent communication skills. Happy Socks is a relatively small team and so it’s imperative the Logistics Coordinator works well under pressure and is willing to jump in to assist the operations team as needed. Lastly, because Logistics play an important part in Production and Order Management, you must be highly organized and detail-oriented; sometimes a simple misstep can result in expensive chargebacks from customers. We need you to make sure every order fulfillment meets our customer’s expectations.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the warehouse on all daily operations (product receipts, order fulfillments, returns, etc.)
  • Be the main point-of-contact with the warehouse
  • Regularly visit the warehouse to monitor operations
  • Partner with Happy Socks Sweden to improve, develop, implement and follow up on warehouse processes
  • Handle declarations and shipping papers
  • Review transportation rates and/or prices of raw materials
  • Ensure warehouse is accurately coordinating the full order cycle from start to finish
  • Send out ASNs daily through EDI platform
  • Perform research, evaluates and recommend solutions to resolve chargebacks in a timely manner

Requirements & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in logistic operations
  • Previous experience within supply chain, warehousing and international shipments
  • Must be analytical and process oriented
  • Engaging and capable, with highly effective interpersonal and written & verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of NaVision is beneficial, or an ability to understand and adapt to new ERP systems
  • Excel proficient
  • Experience with routing/shipping guidelines for major US department stores
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus
  • Previous experience with chargeback resolution is a plus
