Backend Engineer (Laravel, PHP)

We are now looking for a Backend Engineer to join our in-house Engineering Team.

You will work in the E-commerce department as part of a group of talented designers and engineers responsible for the development of our own E-commerce platform.

As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building the next generation of E-commerce tools and services. The products we are working on are built on a range of technologies and AWS services including: Laravel, Vue.js, Docker, Lambda, SQS, Aurora, etc.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Help shape the vision for the future of Happy Socks’ E-commerce platform beyond Magento.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and other stakeholders and become an active member of a cross-functional organization.

Requirements & Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience working with the Laravel PHP framework (Vapor is a plus).
• Practical experience with the AWS serverless platform.
• Bonus: Practical experience with Magento 2.
• Fluency in English
